Who doesn’t love bath bombs? They just make your bathing fun; twirling and spinning in the water diffusing your loved fragrance and salts to soften the skin. When dry, they are non-reactive. But as soon as they come into contact with moisture/water, they start fizzing vigorously releasing gases and forming bubbles.

Bath bombs do skin a lot of good in addition to enchanting bubbly escapade. Besides, they are reasonably easy to make. After this effervescent soak you are going to have a delightful mood forever.

Here’s what all we need to prepare it.

Ingredients Needed:-

  • 1/3 Part Citric Acid
  • 2/3 Part Baking Soda
  • Witch Hazel in Spray Bottle
  • Colorant (Dried herbs or colorful flower petals)
  • Fragrance Oil (of your choice)
  • Ice Cube Tray

Preparation Steps:-

Step One: Take citric acid and baking soda in a container and mix them together until they are well blended.
Step Two: Add colored flower petals or dried herbs to the mixture.
Step Three: To the above mixture add a nice smelling fragrance oil of your choice. Aromatherapy works wonders.
Step Four: Work the witch hazel spray with one hand and keep stirring the mixture fast & well as it starts fizzing. Check its consistency and stop when it feels thick like play dough.
Step Five: Pull out a piece of dough and press it into moulds in the ice cube tray until the bombs stop fizzing. (Too much fizzing indicates that your mixture is wet as you have used too much witch hazel.) Let the mixture stay in the tray overnight.

Just pop in a bomb or two into your bathtub and enjoy a captivating fizzy bath. You can even wrap these bombs in colorful cellophane wraps, put them into a transparent sachet and tie the pack with a ribbon. Gift them to your family & friends or sell them as mini spa treats to get a little cash.
